The buzz around the recent awards show reached a fever pitch, particularly after host Geoff Keighley shared a puzzling image of a strange statue. The question has been revealed. Larian Studios is developing a brand-new Divinity game.
Revealed to be Divinity, the game was showcased with a bold trailer packed with striking imagery, from a burning man to an orgy and the very opening of infernal gates.
A Different Direction
For those anticipating Divinity Original Sin 3, prepare for a surprise. Larian stated ahead of time that a follow-up to its venerated RPGs is not being worked on now.
However, the developer described this new Divinity as a next chapter of the core franchise. This choice of words implies that the team is likely building a faster-paced experience rather than another turn-based title. At this moment, this is speculation, as only a cinematic trailer is available.

The series is also famously flexible, letting players to experiment both in story and combat. Most missions can be solved in a variety of manners, frequently in lateral fashion.
